Rihanna's Lawyer : The 50 Yard Distance Isn't Necessary
After just few months this too much publicised event where it was alledged that he beat her for no reason. The bruised face picture released all over the internet compromising the case where Chris Brown ended up pleading guilty to save himself the court money and time and risk of ending in jail. He has received a 5 years probation and complete 180 days of community labor and 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.
The court requested a 50 yards protection that now lawyer is fighting deeming useless. "The "Umbrella" singer wants a less-stringent "level one" order - with no distance requirement, her lawyer said. "Our position has not changed. We still believe a level one is sufficient. It would protect her against Chris annoying, harassing or molesting her in any way," said Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra. "She doesn't feel it's necessary (to have a 50-yard buffer).""
Chris Brown also released an apology video last week. The reps also denies any kind of reunion that might have taken place at the hotel on the week-end of July 25th and says it was just a coincidence they were staying in the same hotel.
"There was no intentional violation (of the court order)," Etra said. "My understanding is they were at the hotel at the same time, but it was pure coincidence."
Why do you honestly think they don't want that 50 years? Do you believe because she cares and believe they are bound to break that rule unintentionally?
