Gabrielle Union is no stranger to the most of us. From playing in Tv shows like Moesha, Family matters and bigger movie roles like Deliver us from Eva, Bad Boys II,Daddy's little girls and much more. The young Janet Jackson look alike (tho some) now she is currently working in an ABC show titled Flash Forward which is set to premiere On September 24.

She is also working on a "Lifetime" movie, It's about 3 girlfriends who each make a parct to find a husband within a year's time. "This is not a woman-in-peril movie. Lifetime is really interested in a stories about African-American women who are diverse and educated and not just the usual stuff that we've been seeing."

She has admitted that economy has made things slow : "Hollywood is not immune to what's happening in the worlds. There are fewer productions, and for those few the question becomes, 'Who wants a black girl? When there are so many actresses to choose from, It's not always going to be you. Lots of people just want to do film, but you don't have that luxury anymore. You have to be more creative."

There is much more to Miss Union then what you see on tv, she has also been an avid spoke person on securing funds for rape crisis centers across the country. Why is it so important to her? At the young age of 19 years old, retail employee, was raped during a robbery. Thanks to the detectives who quickly found her assailant, he is doing a bid for 33 years. She had been seeing counselors who guided her from being a victim to the survivor that we've seen so far.

"We tend to underfund these programs and waht that does is enable and empower the rappist. Even when i don't have a job, giving back and contributing to society pays my soul" Gabrielle Union said.

She also speaks about all these ongoing rumors about her dating many different men like Boris Kodjoe which she thinks was sad, he went on a radio to speak about his kids illness and the people were only concentrating on the gossip then paying attention to these illness that has been striking closer to home then we think. Even more rumors that got her angry, Her having a baby and a blogger writing a letter telling everyone to hold on to their men when Gabrielle Union is in town and passed herself as the wife of an athlete which some of us believe was Dwayne wade. They found the person and decided not to sue why you would ask? "When i found out that she was a mom, I decided to take the high road. A lawsuit would only hurt her kids." But bloggers? she is determined she will prove how much lies they put and how many are so entertained by it. What's the best way to destroy a young black woman's effort? call her a whore? A Bitch? She also reveals that she was previously married to Nfl Player Chris Howard and dirvorced in 2006 and that is the only marriage that she's ever taken part of destroying.

Sorry to any men out there who thought they might have a chance with Gabrielle, she reveals that she does have a man and is nearly a decade younger which is probably what sparked the rumors with Dwayne wade who is currently divorcing his wife.

I do believe her and Dwayne has something going on but that does not justify anyone to be judging her. Dwayne's own wife have been complaining about her and her future ex-husband hasn't been doing good. That's what life is about taking chances. We as a community need to stop degrading our own people. She is shining for us on camera showing that we have talents, how about we concentrate on this? and leave the personal lives out of our business?
