R. Kelly who's currently working on his upcoming album and spoke at the Midwest music Festival in chicago about the multiple problems he went through during his career.

Which one was not being able to read properly. He revealed,"When I was trying to make it out here, I already knew, and I was stubborn about it. I don't even read really and I'm not afraid to say that. My cousins and brothers used to tease me 'you can't even read right. How you think you're going to come up?' The only reason I graduated from grammar school is because I had a great jump shot. I went to high school and [my teacher] told me 'you will one of the greatest writers of all time.' I believed. You [have to] believe it. You can't believe [anything] if you're hating. You can't achieve [anything] if you're hating."

What does he have to say about the case of child pornography, which he was cleared because there wasn't enough proof of the age and multiple other factors :"I can't keep answering these questions, if you [were] charged with something and you [were] found innocent, then you can't be found guilty for being found innocent."

Followed with a a message to all those who still hates him: "I got ya'll beat if you're hating on me because I love you. That's why I keep doing what I do."

Now am i surprised he can't read properly? Not at all most of these artists especially the new ones are barely out of diapers and NO one (as in parents, family) even push them to complete school just in case or even just to send the right message. I have that HUGE problem with people who do not complete school and when they have children will beat them, scream profanity at them because they don't want to continue school or even learn. Isn't that hypocrite? It bothers me when i hear some of these new acts in an interview like Yung Berg who can't even do a proper sentence without profanity or sounding mega stupid. Come on people you need to be educated to get your career going. Reading is the door to knowledge.
