I was wondering what was Wyclef working on lately. Came about his Haitian Foundation, Yele Haiti and also that new Warrior Movement.
Which is :"All of us supporting our fellow Warriors, thus strengthening the community from within as we expand it."
Upcoming album album set for 2010 and recently released a mixtape,
Patwa Swagga.
Wyclef is also working on Yele Haiti Timberland boots, coming out around the same time as the next mixtape. Why am i even posting about this? One because i want to support an artist who isn't only getting money off his sales or even foundation and buying a loads of cars, houses or "BIG ASS CHAIN", but is using that same money to give back to not only the "haitian" community but for the young ones in general. Giving a chance to others to make it in the music industry, school or even have food on their table.
In other news, He is going back to school to set the right example to everyone.
Grammy-winning Haitian-born rapper, producer and ambassador, Wyclef Jean, is going back to school today.
The singer, 36, late last week announced he will return to college to earn a degree in music as of today, October 5th. Jean, known around the world not just for his music but his charitable works for his homeland, said he will be attending Boston`s Berklee College of Music.
His first class is today and throughout the fall he will be taking classes in ear training, music theory, improvisation and guitar.
Jean dropped out of college after only one semester to pursue his career but he insists that going back to school has always been a goal. His return to college comes just over a month before the release of his next scheduled remix CD, which is set to drop on Nov. 10th.
